To some, data may be an odd thing to be passionate about, after all, it is just a bunch of numbers and percent signs. However, to me, it makes perfect sense. Data helps to tell the story of a market, it can help to take a company from struggling and on its last legs to an industry leader, and it can help predict the future. So, of course, I am passionate about data.
Having previously worked in the high-performance sports industry, my love for data led me to pursue an MSc in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Liverpool. This has given me strong skills in using Python, SQL, and Tableau as well as a strong understanding of the underlying mathematics. I am always looking to improve these skills by pursuing extra data projects in my spare time as well as online courses to pick up new skills.
